Post-Editing involves reviewing and improving the output of AI translation or machine translation (MT, machine translation). Although significant progress has been made with AI and MT, texts pre-translated with them are not perfect. With Post-Editing, the editor compensates for the weaknesses and ensures a high-quality, reliable text that meets the client’s expectations. Thus, Post-Editing is not an optional luxury, but an indispensable step in the translation process after using AI or MT.
